So far I am off to a fantastic start, my grades have been 70+ and i'm starting to get more comfortable around my band. I have been putting in a good effort when it comes to my work resulting in my success thus far. I have already learned to play 3 songs with my band and are still working hard to get the songs ready for the performance in December. Grades on the other hand have been fantastic so far, i've been passing every class with the percentage I set as a goal and even higher for some of my assignments. I'm going to continue with the effort in all my classes and get those grades to 75%+ instead of 70%. "Remember Get ahead, get graduated" -Mrs. Sweetapple, W.H Croxford administrator.

Hello, this is my blog/smart goal page. This is where i'm going to show you what i'm working towards in this music academy. If you don't know what a SMART goal is, it stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. In our LA/English class, we made two goals. One for the academy, and one personal goal.
My academy goal is that I would like to get to know my group a little more, and be able to play the songs on our set list to perfection. So far, I've gotten a small idea of what my group likes but am looking to know more. I'm starting to understand their style of playing and the music they enjoy. I'm not worried though. I usually blend in to a group quite well. By the end of October, I want to be able to accomplish this goal. With motivation, I believe it could be done before that date. My personal goal is getting decent grades. The reason being is right now i'm still getting punished for my lousy grades last year. To get out of this punishment I need to get 70% or higher in all classes. This is reasonable because I managed to get that last year, all while missing a bunch of assignments which brought it down exceptionally. So far i'm starting off great and hoping to keep those grades up. |
